The copier used to jam all the time. Instead of calling a repairman, I brought a sledge hammer into work. I showed the copier the sledge hammer. I explained what the sledge hammer could do. I left the sledge hammer nearby, where anybody could reach it if the error light started to blink. Haven't had a problem since.
